MyKeeper Terms

Terms of Use

These terms explain the basic rules for using MyKeeper. By using the app, you agree to these terms.

Using MyKeeper

MyKeeper is a tool for organizing containers, documents, notes, photos, scans, voice notes, and related personal records. You may use it only in ways that are lawful and responsible.

You are responsible for how you use the app and for the content you choose to store in it.

Your data and backups

MyKeeper is designed to be local-first. In normal use, your data stays on your device unless you choose to export, back up, or connect an optional cloud service.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. If your device is lost, damaged, reset, or cleared, data stored only on that device may be lost.

Importing a backup replaces the current MyKeeper data on the device with the contents of the backup you choose.

Optional Google Drive features

MyKeeper may offer optional Google Drive backup features. If you choose to use them, you are responsible for your Google account, your Drive files, and any permissions you grant.

Google Drive backup is intended as an optional backup destination, not as a guaranteed sync or recovery service.

Use of Google services may also be subject to Google's own terms and privacy policies.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use MyKeeper to:

No guarantee of uninterrupted service

MyKeeper may change over time. Features may be improved, removed, renamed, or temporarily unavailable. The app may also be affected by browser behavior, device limitations, storage limits, third-party services, or network issues.

No warranty

MyKeeper is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind to the extent allowed by law. That includes, for example, no warranty that the app will always be error-free, always available, or always prevent data loss.

Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, the creators and providers of MyKeeper are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, backups, profits, business, or use arising from use of the app.

In plain language: you should keep backups you trust and should not rely on a single device or single copy of your data.

Your responsibility for sensitive material

If you choose to store personal, confidential, financial, legal, medical, or other sensitive information in MyKeeper, you do so at your own discretion and risk.

You are responsible for protecting your device, exported files, backup ZIPs, cloud accounts, and any printed materials related to your stored information.

Changes to MyKeeper and these terms

MyKeeper and these terms may be updated from time to time. If the app adds important new features, especially around cloud backup, sync, or sharing, these terms will be updated to reflect those changes.

Contact and support

If a support or contact method is provided inside MyKeeper or on its website, that is the best place to ask questions or report issues. Support may be limited.
